More Sunrise Shots from Bradstreet Landing
Bradstreet Landing in Rocky River has been a productive spot for me to get some nice landscape (lakescape?) shots. The last 2 times I have visited for sunrises have had some nice colors and birds. I'm really happy with the color I got on this particular sunrise. I didn't even have to do any post processing to get those colors to pop.
I was also able to get close to a gull and get some nice shots. I only have a 50mm prime right now and I didn't crop the photos on this post. I was able to get within a few feet of the gull without it getting spooked and flying away. I was very pleased with the result I got that morning.
Another reason why I went out to shoot landscapes is I wanted to make sure my sensor cleaning worked. I got some dust on my sensor that I didn't notice until I shot at a small aperture earlier in the week. I recently upgraded to a Nikon D610 and was a little concerned it might be oil spots from the shutter mechanism. Fortunately, a few quick blasts with the blower cleaned it up and the spots were gone.
