More Bird Photos

The days are very short and cloudy here in Cleveland this time of year. The sun doesn't rise until close to 8:00am and when it does, it's covered by clouds. Then the sun sets around 5:00 pm. Behind a blanket of clouds. It's made photographing outside challenging to say the least. My one bright spot has been hand feeding some chickadees. I also went to a bird banding demonstration at the Rocky River Reservation which allowed me to get some close up shots of some birds that are normally hard to get near with a 50mm prime.

I got some shots of my wife feeding the birds. I'm really happy with the one I used as the main photo for this post. It's not super sharp, but I like the composition and depth of field. It has a dreamy look to it.
