Natural History and Art Museum

25 February 2015

I went to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and the Cleveland Museum of Art about a week and a half ago. I was going to post these photos sooner, but I cam down with an ear infection and was busy at work, so I haven't had much time to update this.

I got a couple of decent shots of the tyrannosaurus and triceratops skeletons at the Natural History Museum. I used my 50mm f/1.8 that day since I knew the museum would be dark and I wanted a wider field of view. I would like to visit the museum again with a wide angle lense and see if I can make the specimens there look more interesting.

At the art musuem, I got a couple of pictures fo the armor and the original main lobby. The armor exhibits is one of my favorite sections at the musuem. It's not art per se, but you can tell the people that build them put a great deal of care into their construction.

Summary

Some fun shots from the museums in University Circle.
